Clivea - acrylic

Colour !!! It's all about the colour in this painting. Our garden when the cliveas are blooming looks fabulous.  I decided to include a pink background in the artwork, this colour combination is one of my favourites.

"Light " was the inspiration for this painting. With all the life drawing I'm now doing at art school I wanted to try and bring focus to the light and combine it with acrylic paint. Approximately 250 x 400 mm on stretched canvas and a depth of 20mm, this painting is mostly black.
